As far as I know, every European bike company is free to use the four bar system without having to pay Specialized for it.

nice bike Smile but lower bars would probably feel better, then you would be positioned perfectly over your bike

hey, no, I don't think so. It could be the oil being forced through the valves, but if it sounds different you should have it checked at your bike shop.

Does the headset you're using already reduce the lower part to 1 1/8 or is there another reducer? There's not much info online...
Going to build one up myself Smile

Hey there, no, as long as I've been riding it the Vengeance worked beautifully. I'm even thinking about ditching my Domain and riding the Vengeace again because it feels better. You should visit your bike shop and have your fork checked

I'm not selling the Vengeance though, it's just too nice for sale. If I'm not happy with the Domain 318 I'll simply ride the X-Fusion again

Maybe not better, but it's got more adjustments and a little more travel. I wouldn't have changed the X-Fusion yet, but I unexpectedly got the Domain very cheap on ebay and it's almost new, so I thought I'll give it a try Wink

The 2010 model only had 175mm, this year they fortunately stepped it up. I'm a total beginner when it comes to downhill, but the first thing I did with it was some VERY technical dh, lots of roots and big rocks. The bike felt very nimble and quite agile, every single part worked great, no flat tires, no untrue rims afterwards, no noticeable bottoming out. If your intention should be only to ride dh with it, you should replace the fork with a dual crown though. The Vengeance is a high quality fork but it just doesn't have enough travel for extensive dh racing
cheers

Thanks man Smile It's a medium, I'm 185 cm and it fits perfectly. I was thinking about getting a large one, but riding one myself, I would strongly recommend the medium sized frame.

The only parts that really need to be replaced are the pedals. Apart from that everything works perfectly, especially the suspension is very good for the price, super plush and very well made. I was a bit sceptical about the brakes though, but they work surprisingly well and are powerful.

I rode some downhill a couple of days ago, the suspension literally sucks up everything but at the same time it's really nimble. All parts work perfectly, especially the fork is amazing!!! You should replace the pedals right after buying it though, they're the only parts on the bike that are shit. Replaced them with Shimano PD MX30s and now the bike's flawless. This monster totally rocks for the price Smile

I do recommend it!!! the whole bike doesn't feel like low-budget at all. Super plush and great handling. Looking forward to hitting big stuff with it Wink

The cables are too short for that I guess, they're the original ones. I wouldn't do barspins with this bike anyway Wink

OK, I just measured the Sag while standing on the bike and it's exactly 26% of the fork and the damper travel. Most people say a Freeride bike should have about 30%, so I guess we won't have to worry Wink
Can't wait to shred the bikeparks, cheers!
